STEP 1 - DESIGN YOUR RING | STEP 2 - RING MANUFACTURE | STEP 3 - HALLMARKING

How it Works - Ring Manufacture

Once you have created your perfect ring, the 3D model is sent to our ring maker. At this point a trained goldsmith will check the model for validity and double check that the ring design is robust.

The electronic 3D model will be used to generate the casting mould. The mould will be created either from photo-cured resin or by computer-aided milling, whichever is most appropriate for your specific design.

A skilled ring technician will pour your selected metal into your mould. We use the lost wax casting process to make all our rings. This means that the casting mould must be destroyed in order to extract you ring - so your ring cast won't be used again.

After your ring is extracted from the mould it will be polished by hand. The polished ring mounting is then ready to have the gemstones that you selected set by a trained gem setter.

The finished ring is given a final polish and then quality checked by a trained goldsmith to ensure the ring has been made to standard. The ring is now ready to be sent for hallmarking
